It's a fairly steep walk to get to the top of the castle hill but it's worth the walk to earn a brew and a cake.
Great views from the castle.

Recently got married at Clitheroe Castle, James was so friendly and professional throughout the whole process. Very well organised and very helpful in planning our big day. On the day itself, James and his staff made the whole event run smoothly. All the guests commented on how well run the day was. The food was amazing, we had the afternoon tea and then pizzas in the evening and again had so many compliments about the food by our guests. I can thoroughly recommend James and The Atrium for weddings.

The food here is really good. All home made. It is bright ,airy and there's plenty of space.Lots of families go so it can be noisy.

The cafe was hired out privately for a party. Nice place for a get together, very nice touch watching the sunset over Clitheroe from the castle wall

Superb service delicious cakes.
Really beautiful location on top of the castle next to the keep. Lovely coffee and tea. They cater for all events including weddings christenings, engagements and birthdays. The staff are friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. Good selection if food. Highly recommend.

Seldom have I been to such a serene and friendly place. Small but superb family restaurant! Extremely well spoken and polite staff. Chef: such a humble personality, excellent in his skills. High quality food, cooked fresh and perfect. Your heart would melt! 👍👍👍👌👌👌

We really enjoyed our visit to the Atrium Cafe. The service was excellent as was the food; my daughter and I thought the smoked haddock and prawn chowder wonderful. Very good value for money.

A fab little venue, if you are planning a trip to Clithero Castle and fancy a cake, a coffee and a sit down to recharge this is the place to go. They also act as a wedding venue at extremely reasonable prices.

Tried The Atrium today for Sunday Brunch and loved it! Great quality local sausage and bacon. I don't like mushrooms so my partner had mine and he said it was excellent, very tasty and the "roasted" tomato was spot on! Better than the usual grilled ones he gets from other places.
I asked for an extra egg instead of hash brown. The eggs were well cooked, hot and runny just how I like them. I would have preferred back bacon to the streaky bacon but saying this it was still excellent quality.
The tea we had was made with fresh leaves not the usual teabag although I asked if they offered teabags to those who prefer and I was told yes they did. The service was really outstanding. Warm, friendly staff. Waiting time not too long and the food and drinks were piping hot.
All in all a great experience and we will be coming again very soon to sample the other delights we saw on offer...mainly the scrumptious looking burgers!
