Visited with friends for Sunday dinner. Lovely pub with great food. The Sunday roast was excellent overall, my only criticism would be the roast potatoes which needed to be crispy but weren't! Everything else was spot on though. Well worth a visit and I would happily go again. Can't rate the rooms as we weren't staying.

A very beautiful village inn. Greeted with a roaring fire and a friendly welcome from the staff. We enjoyed a wonderful lunch and drinks over the next 3 hours. Never felt rushed and had a wonderful time there. Wish we lived closer and could …

After a rainy day, driving around Pendle we called in at the Assheton Arms for a meal. On arrival we were given a warm welcome by the staff, the pub is cosy, and has a great friendly atmosphere. …

Although the weather was bad, the atmosphere inside was great. Our first visit and what a beautiful pub in a lovely area. The food and service were excellent. I had a small fish and chips. The fish was delicious and the batter lovely and light. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals and the setting. Hopefully, we shall return.

Restaurant Only... Generally good, service was good, starter was excellent, the main was over cooked (I suppose easily done being fish pie). …

Beautiful location. Bar was warmed by the roaring log burner. So toasty we nearly nodded off. Food was excellent but above all the staff, all young staff, were a credit to the place. Both bar staff and restaurant staff were polite, courteous, and professional. A refreshing change in a stunning area.
