Barrbridge

This place has gone right downhill. Waited for ages, didnt get drinks until meal was almost over. Food was overcooked and dry. Wont be back. I spoke to manager after my last visit and she sent me a voucher as way of apology. My husband and me went to the restaurant on 28th Oct. Our meals were lovely. Staff were friendly and not run off their feet. We had a relaxing meal with wine and could sit and enjoy it this time. Thank you.

We visited the Barrbridge last night and were quite happy with value for money. I ordered a blue rump steak which is sometimes a disaster but mine was a really nice piece of steak cooked perfectly the chef had kept it off the skillet on a bed of onions and peppers to stop it cooking. My wife had the half roast chicken also nicely cooked. It was Tuesday so skillets were £8-50 a bargain for my steak. Will go back.

Had one of the best baked potatoes I've ever had along with mini mixed grill which was lovely....chicken was tender not dried out gammon steak was good as well not too salty and sausages were good....the meal was lovely. Coffee was served with hot water and milk separately as had asked for weak latte Found the bar staff friendly ...Erin served us main course and didn't get name of coffee person or manger who showed us to a quiet part of the restaurant as we're a few children's parties going on. Really cdn't fault it apart from being unwell following day with viral gastric bug which did settle later that night. No idea cause and not blaming the restaurant as we both enjoyed the food....

The food is what you'd expect, nothing special but plentiful and very reasonably priced. The atmosphere, again, nothing to write home about just your standard chain restaurant background music at a level that can just be heard over the chatter of the customers. So why have I given it 4 stars? Service! Chloe is a star, nothing was any trouble and she even went out of her way to make sure my daughter made the best menu choices. If every member of staff is this attentive the place should be much busier, they deserve the custom.

Hubby and I out for a run. Decided to drop in to the Barrbridge Hungry Horse, Coatbridge. Menu varied and reasonably priced. Both had the sizzler mixup. Hubby had gammon steak, onion rings, fries and BBQ sauce. I had the southern fried chicken skewers, sweet potato fries and coleslaw. Food arrived reasonably quickly. Large portions. Glad we didn't have starters. Everything was delicious. Cooked and presented well. Staff courteous and polite. Would recommend this place to anyone.🤗 Able to use my blue light card discount which saved 20% off our meal.👏👏

Spent day/night here yesterday and what an amazing time we had, food, drinks, live singer and most importantly, the amazing staff that make it such a great place to be. Martin behind the bar truly is an absolute credit to the place, the joy he brung with his amazing personality totally outshined and never felt so comfortable and welcomed. Abbie the manager was amazing too and so helpful. Didn’t get name of guy who worked in kitchen but again, so friendly and nice. Thanks so much everyone, loved our visit. Look forward to seeing you all again sometime soon. Claire & Derek

Quite liked this place. Good swing park outside. Attentive and pleasant staff. Can order food on app from table. Only thing I would say, if you expect mash, it will be microwaveable mash. Also green beans seemed to have been through the rounds (I ordered the chicken Balmoral). But many of the other food I did see seemed decent. It's really cheaply priced. So I'm not expecting Michelin. I'll just avoid the mash next time round. Good environment for a family meal.
