The Garden Pod Cafe

This is a lovely spot for coffee, tea or lunch with a beautiful shop selling all sorts of interesting bits of jewellery, scarves, clothes and great items for a gift or treat. Very disappointed that they are charging £2 for parking now, I hope it does not effect the retail units as not their decision. I will sadly think twice.

This is a really nice place to visit but you can't bring your own food and drink. There is a cafe there, but it is quite expensive. Its a good place for children to play as there is a sandpit and a castle with a slide. It's also all enclosed so the kids can't run off. They was an ice cream stand there when we went which is great for the hot days.

Our friends hired a part of this for a birthday party and it was great, a hidden gem. It's a beautiful place with plenty of free parking and we really enjoyed out time here. We'll definitely go back. The kids play area and sand pit was nice. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is a lack of shade, petty I know but it's well worth a visit to while away some hours in the sun. We didn't look around the shops or cafe but will do so next time.
