The food here was incredible, 100% recommend. Staff were very friendly and attentive, steak was cooked to perfection.
We hadn't booked on a Friday night and our party of 4 was accomadated. Steak perfectly cooked with a beautiful grilled smoky taste. .
Absolutely beautiful meal, service spot, and a lovely atmosphere. Would definitely recommend it. We will definitely come back.
Food was good. Streak slightly too pink for medium but still nice. Wine was reasonable and price is about par for Cockermouth. Atmosphere up stairs is a little less appealing than in the main restaurant at the front so try and book early.
Everything was clearly homemade. Couldn't fault it. We drove a little bit further to visit this place on our holiday and so glad we did. Perfect meal to finish our trip. Will definitely be back if we are down here again!
Visited whilst on holiday in Keswick. The food did not disappoint- it was amazing! Would highly recommend. Would agree the atmosphere in the back restaurant up the stairs is not the same as it seemed at the front but it didn’t spoil the experience. Staff, food and value for money all 5 stars for us!

We booked last minute and came for a rare child free meal! Was well worth it!! We had a bread board to start, stilton and bacon with a garlic and thyme butter. We wernt sure what to expect, but it was very nice. Then we had a shared platter for a starter. The beef bon bons were a highlight for me an

I had a fillet steak and it had to be one of the tastiest Steaks I've ever had. he creamed leek and bacon side was to die for and the Mac and cheese was delicious! Would go back in a heart beat!
