Wild Zucchinis Bistro

Manon and team catered for our wedding on the 19th December and we couldn't rate them highly enough. The food was amazing and the best sticky toffee pudding I have ever eaten! Manon is wonderful and was so flexible throughout our planning process, as there were many restrictions and changes to navigate. Our day was perfect and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for a wedding caterer. Review from a happy coeliac :-) Cosy, popular cafe with greatly varied range of healthy foods *and* delicious milkshakes, cakes & bakes. Veggie, vegan and gluten-free friendly! The Venue - imagine a friendly, comfortable front room enlivened by good conversation, coffee and food. Grab the one sofa for extra comfy points! The Menu - Approaches 'something for everyone'. Much of the menu offers Mediterranean diet themed dishes including falafel, hummus & a varied range of fresh & vibrant salads. Meat lovers can enjoy Burgers, Bacon & Sausage Sandwiches. Much of the menu is naturally gluten-free and cross-contamination risk is carefully managed. Review score would go from 5 to 6 stars if the menu indicated the GF and GFO dishes :-) The Food - Sundried tomato cashew 'cream cheese' from the 'Lite Bites' section is simply gorgeous. Rich, dense, smooth & bursting with vibrant tomato, garlic and zingy lemon flavor. I bought to share then begrudged every errant spoonful. The Service - Homely, & friendly. A little manic if busy, quirky, and *very* charismatic. Sit back, relax, enjoy the food and exchange witticisms!

If you only visit one place in Cockermouth make it the Wild Zucchini. The staff are always friendly, the food is great and the owner is a star. Forced to close during lockdown 1 they continued to deliver food, helping me out with a last minute surprise birthday breakfast for my wife. More recently with a fantastic wedding anniversary romantic breakfast in bed. Service and quality like this is hard to find these days. Thank you very much

We discovered this little gem when in Cockermouth a couple of years ago during a family holiday... so glad we came back as once again we had another delicious meal! Service was efficient and very friendly with all tables well spaced out, so much so that despite having a pram there was still plenty of room between us and the next table. I enjoyed the club sandwich and my husband loved his burger, we were quite full after lunch so we bought some cakes to enjoy later and just wow! I just hope we get to visit again before heading home!
