Lovely cafe/coffee shop with very friendly staff and delicious home cooked meals. Perfect for light lunches or something a bit more. I'm usually a bit fussy but I've been here a couple of times and really enjoyed it.
What a wonderful tea room, from breakfast to afternoon tea and cake, we loved this Cafe, vintage in style of house, and the cakes and breakfast were fabulous, the ladies were so friendly, even when I lost my Hubby 🤣 who I was to meet there on our hols, (it's a long story), we even took scones back h
Went for lunch today, chicken & leak pie with jacket potatoe & salad , fantastic. All meals were great!! The service was great also. Thanks , hopefully we will be back
Food & presentation great but lost on service when after asking for extra jam for a cream scone the waitress came back with an “updated” bill adding another 50p, felt this rather mean & lacking good will.
Lovely lunch date here today! Fast and friendly service, and the food is delicious. I will definitely return.
Great little cafe, not too expensive, had a jacket with tuna and salad and a latte, and it was lovely. Looks like they had some lovely cakes too, but didn't sample any of those. Lovely and polite staff, would recommend

What a lovely little tea room, the cakes and sandwiches were second to none on flavour. A very good range of hot and cold drinks but all outshine by the ladies serving
Best coffee and cake in Cockermouth. Proper old fashioned tea room a proper treat.
The tearoom was found and enjoyed, good value for money, great food, lovely ombiance, and lovely ladies running this lovely place. I can highly recommend. I visited for the first time last month while on a coaching holiday of The Lake District staying in St Bees. From Jackie C

This is an excellent place to have a sip of coffee, eat something fresh and well prepared, and for really good prices. Not to mention the staff who were very friendly and nice.
We came across this little place by chance while visiting Cockermouth. All home made freshly baked scones and cakes, very friendly service. Highly recommended it's beautiful!!!

Lovely cafe, sat outside in the sunshine. Staff were great attentive whilst not all over you. Service was quick and efficient. Great selection of cakes too.

Enjoyed some excellent soup, pot of tea for two with extra hot water, cake and toasted teacake for just over 10 pounds. Lovely selection of home made food. Would definitely be back
Came for lunch with a friend today. We had the toasted sandwiches, with tea and a homemade cake after. The food was lovely. Really nice cafe. The woman serving us however was miserable, it was like we were annoying her by sitting down and ordering food which put a bit of a damper on the situation.
Very clean, popular cafe with varied menu and prompt service. Great selection of food, drinks and deserts.
