Fantastic location for the West Lakes. The building is very impressive and the grounds are lovely. The best part of our experience was the service we received from Dan. I had made the mistake of booking through a well known online booking service and had filtered for pet friendly hotels but had not confirmed this with the hotel. Dan sorted out our problem in a very accommodating way which was very much appreciated.

We came for the carvery on a Wednesday. At £14 for 2 it is a amazing deal. Great food and a good selection of beers, wines and spirits. They staff are very friendly. The views to the fells is amazing in summer you must sit outside and take in the views

Popped in on a bleak cold evening for a bite to eat. Staff were more than friendly. Although out of season was more than welcoming. Really friendly went over & beyond to meet our needs. Place was a little run down but added to its charm. Sitting by the open fire was toasty loved it.
