Omg we have just eaten one of the best curries we have had we went for the £22 meal popadoms pickle mango onion baji chicken tikka chicken Korma chicken tikka masala pilau rice and Bombay aloo and naan bread all for £22 wow do not hesitate what fab food at a great price thankyou

Never actually been in here but passed it many times going to the pub next door and I have to say it smells absolutely wonderful. Sadly it's take away only, not dine in but I must try it one day.

Had a selection of meals and sides from here while staying at Keswick reach lodge..6 different main courses and rices ..all tasted lovely and fresh selection of Mann breads the keema being the most popular. Delivered in less than an hour by a very polite guy..all people enjoyed it hence 5 star review

Superb !! It’s a shame I don’t live locally. Visiting the area and ordered a takeaway and I have to say it’s the best curry I’ve had for many years. Crispy onion bhajis full of flavour, tasty buttery pilau rice and chicken madras that’s actually madras hot and full of flavour with lots of chicken. Highly recommended.

Go to this Indian regulary, always polite and friendly service. The food is amazing, proper Indian style of cooking, from recipes passed down over the generations. Parathas are brilliant and I wouldn't go to any other Indian.

Ordered 9 different curries, rice, chips, naan and bajis, ready in under 40 minutes and all tasted fantastic. Bhuna was a little on the hot side, so I would say order on the milder side if you like it that way, still tasty. Korma was very flavourful for a very mild dish, along with the Masala. Vindaloo very hot but tasty also. Such a great price for all that too. Happy first day of holiday for sure.

We loved the food..Couldn't fault it.
We have eaten Indian food for about 30 years now, in restaurants all over the UK.
We ate at "The Best" Indian restaurant in NYC on our honeymoon in 2001 and it was absolutely horrendous.
Of course some people will leave negative reviews as with all food. it's a matter of personal taste and you cannot please 100% of the people 100% of the time.
As an Indian takeaway..Brilliant and we as a family will continue to use it. 👍👍👍

Faultless simple meal ordered as a takeaway last night. Karen had 2 prawn purées. I had vegetable bhuna with onion rice. Excellent value for money at £10.80. they were very busy and there was a 35 minute wait but the meal was piping hot. Would definitely go again. This is the first time that i ordered a vegetable only dish and I wasn't disappointed. The lack of meat was not a problem and it saved a pound to boot.

We needed a quick meal in Cockermouth and although we just ordered a set meal for one person it was more than sufficient for both of us.
It was ready in about 10 minutes and was still hot enough to enjoy when we got back to Embleton.
The portions were ample for 2,
Chicken Tika Masala curry was really tasty, the pliau rice was nice and the sides were good. Terrific value for money.
