Really enjoyed our afternoon tea. Ordered a Gentleman's tea for my boys 10 and 11..... they thought it was fab. And a traditional 1 for my daughter and I.
Food was really good as was the cakes.... being greedy I could've ate a bigger piece of carrot cake lol. But in all seriousness the amount of food was very generous and more than other afternoon tea's I've had.
Looking forward to goin again and am in the process of arranging it.
Visited today for afternoon tea as a birthday treat for a friend and I can not recommended this place enough, the afternoon tea was by far the best I've had, fantastic selection of sandwiches and cakes as well as warm quiche, sausage rolls and scones. Most of which if not all were home made, coffee was lovely too and the lady who was looking after us was friendly and very welcoming, the bistro itself is very nice inside, I will definitely be visiting again soon!
Myself and family visited Lacey’s Bistro for the first time for Sunday Lunch last week.
From the first phone call I made to book a table right through to the service we received on the day was outstanding- despite already having a big group booking at the venue for the time we required, the lady still went out of her way to ensure she could fit us in.
We arrived early and our table was already set up.
Both waitresses were lovely, helpful and polite and the food was particularly plentiful, tasty and enjoyed by us all! Excellent value for money too as we had the two course deal for only £9.50 per person.
We will definitely be returning.
Went for the prosecco afternoon tea yesterday very friendly staff greeted us showed us to the table and brought the drinks. The food was freshly prepared four types of sandwiches hot sausage rolls hot quiche scones with plenty of jam and cream and a slice of Victoria sponge each. Excellent value for the price the staff were very friendly we met the chef who prepared the food and complemented him on the choice. We will definitely return
Lovely afternoon tea and was lucky to be on a Sunday as I work 6 days a week.
They have changed their policy to 6 days a week now so thank you to the management for honouring a Sunday.
Lovely food and lovely settings
Would not hesitate to come back.
F A B U L O U S. Gorgeous food. A Warm welcome, attentive friendly staff. Food was hot and cooked to perfection, veggies with still a little bite to them just how I like them. Food was faultless and I would be very happy to pay full price for what we were served on our visit. Will definitely be returning. We've found a little gem of a place 👍👍😍

Grandkids brought us an experience 2 courses and a glass of wine and beer. We had a starter and a sharing platter which was lovely. Good portions and tasty. Witness was very amenable and sociable but not over bearing. Definitely return.

Lovely eggs Benedict. Although on the breakfast menu they were happy to serve at gone 1pm.
Although this is picky, if you are not serving tea in a pot, just a tea bag in a cup; privide an additional saucer for the removed tea bag.
Have been many times before and will continue to go back.
Had afternoon tea at Lacey's Bistro today. Could not fault it, excellent service, amazing food and lots of it. Staff very attentive and friendly. Very good value. Shall be returning.
