Very good chips, I was a few p short and believe they saw me struggling so they let me give them the amount I had. great atmosphere and amazing service. I normally come in with my dad and he absolutely loves it here.

The owner made us feel welcomed .he gave us some chicken for a taster before getting our fish and chips. He even went above and beyond .we ordered 2 large fish and a portion of chips .he gave us more than what we ordered just look at the box.we couldn't even finish all.we had to take away the other box. Absolutely the best fish and chips. I had the Cod and chips with a roll and butter and a pot of tea. The old fashioned way. They have a pensioners/Students speciality deals which are amazing value. The batter is light and crispy and the potions are large. They have a very large menu to choose from. I have visited here four times now and the food and service have always been top notch.

All the people who wrote at google couldn’t be wrong I thought. And so went there. And it was truly the best fish and chip we’ve ever had.The owner is a very funny guy, who explained all what you need to know about their dishes. And, what should I say? It was awesome. Not only the best f&c in the town, maybe the best in the whole country. Very very good!

They get everything right here. Delicious food and friendly feel. You get the impression they like people and they take real pride in their work. Forget the swanky places up the hill and enjoy well cooked food and considerate service.
