A lovely place to meet a friend for a catch up. Fantastic selection of teas, staff very helpful and dietary requirements, no problem. The tables are not crammed together and the overall feel is slightly old-fashioned coziness. Will definitely return.

Me and 3 friends done afternoon tea here it was good value for money getting a whole tea pot each but the sandwich selection wasn’t the best but the salmon ones was good, the cakes were dry but cream on them was tasty overall good service and good for money. Just the cakes let it down

We had an awesome afternoon tea at Small Talk Tearoom - the sandwiches and tea were amazing! Staff members were also warm and helpful. To enjoy tea time with your significant ones, call or visit the shop in advance to make a reservation as well as a deposit!

Amazing Place in the center of Colchester, a refined window shop that invites you to enter and find a vintage word, delicate and elegant. A good lunch, not expensive, a good choice of tea, excellent service, clean toilet...what else! A wonderful discovery!

What a lovely find! A spacious tearoom, with friendly staff and lots of delicious tea options. The food was great, and every dish they brought out looked good too! Big slices of cake caught my eye for next time 😍

Excellent traditional tea room, with an extensive range of black, fruit & herbal teas served in a traditional tea pot with cosy. I had their smoked mackerel salad, potatoes, mayo & gorgeous wholemeal bread. My sister asked for the baked potato with tuna salad without the potato! They delivered it presented splendidly.

This is a Quaint old Tea room in town, has a special ambiance, Food & service good. The customers were more the elderly. Affordable. Would definitely recommend, It is a lovely place to have a sit down and catch-up with friends.

Lovely tea place.
People were nice and the food was as expected! Sakura tea had a full flavor and the scent kept so long. Darjeeling was nice as well.
They have a cream tea and the presentation was so cute! Scone and clotted cream was very delicious. Clotted cream was so thick and creamy and scone was soft!

Just had a fantastic afternoon tea. The staff are really friendly and can't do enough for you. They did a special tea for me, being a diabetic there is normally too many sweet treats. They changed it to replace some of the cakes with a mini ploughman's it was great 👍
