Service was absolutely fantastic. This is probably one of the best Wetherspoon I have ever been to. Based in an old theatre, it's a lovely place to be and pretty quiet too. Food was fantastic with reasonable prices. My only complaint is that it can be a bit gloomy towards the back, but overall a good experience!

Wetherspoons located in Colchester. A bit difficult to find but definitely gonna have a wonderful experience. It's an old theatre made into a pub

This may well be the most beautiful Wetherspoons I've ever been to. Once a theatre and now a bar/restaurant - the stage area, circle seating and all the original features. A very nice place to have a drink and early meal.

Food great. We go for breakfast regularly (not tried evening menu yet) and very reasonable prices, very good service and refillable coffee. We love to look at the cardboard characters at the top gallery all famous celebs and fictional characters. Only issue is the lighting is a quite dark so depending on where you sit might not be able to see the food

A pub that is still a theatre internally very cleverly done. Although busy quick service and food as normal good standard for what you pay

As per usual another building that has been brought to life and restored by Wetherspoon's. The food and drinks was as expected to a good standard, bar and seating area clean and tidy. Good choice of beers in this pub. Overall I would definitely recommend it as a stop off . Carl

Another great repurposed old building, this was an old theatre. Caught it while a mini beer festival was on so plenty of choice.
