First time at vinnys cafe as I wanted to find a cafe that was reasonable priced as fed up with paying £7 for a sandwich in other cafes !! Best & cheapest egg sandwich I have bought in Colchester , fresh bread and my eggs were very well done as asked for 😊 perfect lunch & drink just under £4.50 !! Will be returning again . Very happy customer

This is a great cafe with a menu full of classic meals such as an all day breakfast, jacket potatoes and nuggets and chips for the children. The food was served quickly and the staff also made sure we were comfortable with checking if we needed a high chair or not. Vinnys is the place to go if you want a quick meal, which is value for money and not a chain.

Discovered this little gem when craving a cooked breakfast. The staff here are amazing, very friendly and really lovely to talk to. I have eaten out in similar café environments or the more expensive restaurants but this is the only place I have really felt like the staff care about the customers and I can't praise them highly enough. The food was gorgeous too, my cooked breakfast was extremely hot, not at all greasy, very tasty and the portion size was perfect, lots of it! Great cup of tea to accompany it too. I am not ashamed to admit I came back the following two days and wouldn't choose anywhere else for a similar meal in Colchester. Fantastic place, clean and tidy, prices are very reasonable and extremely welcoming and friendly staff.
