We liked the location and decor very clean and welcoming. Party of four for lunch. On arrival pick and offered table by very pleasant and attentive member of staff. Table service was very good attentive. All ordered the Sunday lunch option. Negative points: When food arrived luke warm with cold plates. Parsnips and carrots under cooked Hot plates would have made the difference. Puddings and drinks good. We maybe should have mentioned it to waiter but hungry and just did not want further delay. Next time we visit I will make sure that I mention it to staff. Again, table service was excellent.

Why have I not come here before?? What a lovely find for girlies whom luncheon. We booked a table during the week and were offered a choice of seating which was great as so, so hot we wanted to be near an open window. Food was delicious and staff wonderful. Well done working in such heat. Can't wait to return.

Booked last minute to see family, pub is easy to get to and has a lovely vibe and is cosy! Great menu as it’s vintage inn, and the food was great! We had Beth as our server and she was amazing start to finish and very attentive. Service was quick also for food and drinks! Would definitely return if in the area again!

The service was great, the pub was quite quiet and there was a large seating area available outside in the sun. The service was very quick, and although they did not have any soya milk, they had oat meat, another plant based alternative I had the rainbow salad, and it was delicious. The salad was large enough and was very flavoursome. The pomegranate accompanied the ginger and pineapple, dressing incredibly well.

Came here on a recommendation and really pleased I did. This is a lovely country pub and restaurant, the menu isn't extensive but it doesn't need to be because what is available is interesting and actually made it difficult to choose. I narrowed it down to 2 but had to rely on the helpful person behind the bar for advice, I think she was the manager so lamb done 2 ways was the choice. It was fantastic, piping hot and tasty. It was so good I'm going back tomorrow for the other choice. Put this on your list of places to go!

Tried out somewhere new for lunch with my boyfriend as I’m kind of local to the area and have never been. On arrival the pub looked beautiful. There is a beer garden so you can sit in or outside. All of the oak features in the pub is wonderful. Ordered food and drinks and were served by Alicia who Brought us menus and helped me out with the vegetarian options. She checked up on us to make sure the food was okay and checked if we wanted desserts or any more drinks. A lovely pub and lovely staff. Will be returning
