Brilliant service from Ram, hooked me up with a meal deal just before my train. Great selection of food even late in the evening and the only place in the station with any food left.

I found a gluten free sandwich with chicken&bacon (I have coeliac disease, it was great to find it available) Ram of the shop was kind and told me I can get a pack of crisps with what I bought. (meal deal, sandwich+drink+crisps)

We needed to stop in Leicester on our way back to London and with time to spare we popped into Pumpkin at the train station. It was clean, well-stocked and Ram who was serving was charming. He couldn’t be more pleasant and helpful. Thank you Ram for making our fleeting stop at Leicester train station so pleasant.

Ram was very helpful in alerting me to the drinks offers of 3 for £8. Very helpful indeed on a hot sunny day when you fancy a cold beer, or 3.

Following the end of a tiring day (7pm) in Leicester, we were met by THE nicest Barista, named Ben at the Leicester train station Pumpkin cafe!
I asked if he had just started his shift as his energy level & customer service were second to none. Face to face service is rare these days & service similar to the US even rarer!

We got a Too Good Too Go bag. Ram the staff was so welcoming, kind and helpful! And the pastries are very nice! We had some croissants, pain au chocolat, pain au raisin, and a chocolate muffin.
