Great evening of delicious food. Really enjoyed it but not me of our meals was delivered way after the others hence 4 stars on service. Friendly staff but very busy so not an easy evening for them

Amici is the best Italian restaurant we have ever been. The friendly atmosphere and beautiful decor creates a relaxed environment to enjoy your meal. The staff are polite and friendly and gave suggestions on both food and wine. The food was delicious and the portions are big! The risotto with the blue cheese was one of the best I have ever tasted. The pizza's crust was thin and crispy-truly Italian style! Amici has a great range of wines and cocktails that will satisfy even the most demanding costumers. We will definitely go back. Highly recommended!

Me and my hubby loved this family run restaurant, the food was fantastic I little taste of Italy. The service was very good and the servers were very friendly and down to earth, great an atmosphere also with Italian music in the back ground. Definitely recommend to family and friends if you’re visiting Forest of Dean area.

Our family of 10 had a lovely time at this restaurant. The food tasted great and had good portion sizes. Between us we had pizza, risotto, carbonara, lasagne and penne al forno della casa. Everyone really enjoyed their food and we were able to feed everyone with drinks for around £170.
They also catered well for coeliac, being able to change any pasta dish to suit dietary requirements. We will definitely return!

Nice restaurant, considering the town options, probably one of the best around. Food is tasty, outdoor terrace is good for summer time. Inside is nice too. Service can be a bit faster but personnel is really kind and deserve their tip. Recommended

Brilliant food and service.
Made a late evening enquiry about a take away. Although close to closing time was advised we could still place an order and collect later on.
Not having been here before we weren’t sure what the food or portions would be like. Got home and everything was still steaming hot, portions were generous and the food was amazing, we couldn’t fault anything.
Highly recommended and will now be one of our regular takeaways.

I was positively impressed with the food served at Amici. The place was very well decorated and had a welcoming vibe.
I had pasta with seafood (one of my favourites) and it was simply delicious. My daughter enjoyed her pizza too.
