We visited today with our family for lunch. The food was the best we have had this trip, service from the husband and wife team (we assume) was exceptionally genuine and friendly. You cant go wrong!

New owners and new Chef! The Old Rectory with its Sculptures is the perfect place to enjoy a cosy lunch, Tiered Lunch, Sunday Roast or even just for a drink admiring Michelle Aplin’s work. Seasonal menus. A large variety of wines, cocktails and other liquors is available. We really enjoyed the Basque Cheese cake! Can’t wait to try the Tiered lunch next time!

A tucked away place that has lots of charm. A very warm welcome and excellent service from beginning to end. The food was good quality and served with a smile. Good flavours with soup and main course. Unfortunately the Bakewell tart was very sweet and hid the flavours of the almonds and jam. I will return in the near future to try other items offered.

The old recovery was lovely very homely and welcoming. The food was amazing we had the o/d's for starter which was a great array of fruit meat fish and salad. My daughter got to try alsorts I wouldn't normally buy and after her trying new things I can now buy them.
