What an absolute gem of a place! We came as a family of 11 tonight and none of us were disappointed. The food was lovely and a good price too, the ale was good and the gin menu wow! The kids menu was great, with a changing mat and step for the sink for little ones, the pixie house and play kitchen out the back kept the kids entertained and safe. What more can I say other than thank you and we'll defo be back!
Not been up for a while to eat, but we've been missing out. Just been up for a valentines family meal and what a meal it was, excellent food excellent pub and excellent staff. Well done to you all and keep it up. We will be back very soon.
What a lovely place with very friendly, attentive staff. The food was delicious, I had the belly pork with mustard mash and my partner had the chicken smothered with chilli & cheese with handcut chips. One problem, no room for dessert!
Prices very good too, a large wine @ £7.20, compared to £11.85 (for a glass!) down the road at The Alma!
Our pooch had a doggie mixed meat tea too, which he loved. Very dog friendly. Thank you for a lovely experience whilst away for a weekend.
I loved it here. Its a food pub, and the food does not disappoint at all! Three of us had 8 different dishes between us, and all 8 were just perfect....flavoursome, tasty, filling. Portion sizes are generous, and there is a large and impressive gin collection too. Real ales, superb views, and a great atmosphere. I'll definitely be back.
Quality food, although it was expensive. However drink costs were reasonable . Nice place, and very clean. Excellent service. Out in the sticks but worth the trip particularly if you’re travelling that way .

Fabulous food and a great choice of drinks in a lovely countryside location. Pub feels cozy and the staff are welcoming and friendly. Would recommend.
A really nice proper country pub. Staff are always friendly and greet you with a welcoming smile (something which isn’t as common as it should be!) great food and a nice little playground out the back to keep the kids busy!
What a lovely experience. Good food, lovely staff and a great atmosphere. Definitely will be going back when we visit the area again.
