Love this place. Great location with parking, Food is delicious at a great price, great choice of drinks, staff (Clare, Jenny and Matt) looked after us very well. AND it is dog friendly
Excellent little place hidden away in Foulridge, the staff were very friendly and helpful and breakfast was well worth having as was the meal in the evening, the room was very clean as was the onsuite bathroom, the prices in the bar are cheap and competitive I would recommend a stay here and will definitely be back.

Great pub very friendly staff, good selection of beers and proper nice food, had the lamb curry Wednesday night don't usually bother with pub curry but this was so good really tender meat and very good authentic taste.
Very welcoming & the food was delicious we had Greek style chicken skewers served with a tomato & mozzarella salad & flat bread very tasty,will certainly be calling again.
Booked this as a little last minute break away. We were not disappointed, what a great little place with fantastic food and all the staff were so friendly and really couldn't do enough for us, especially Steve the head chef.
The food was absolutely top notch, we had our evening meal there and were even told we could pick things that werent on the weekend menu and that if they had the food in, Steve would make it for us no problem. Breakfast the next morning was delicious and plentiful, again, nothing too much trouble.
The room was spacious and clean and really good value for money. A lovely sun trap of a beer garden at the back too. All in all, 2 very happy customers who will definetely be returning!

Have had two excellent experiences of this pub over Christmas. The food is excellent. One of the party had a mixed grill, the best one ever, anywhere. All staff are really pleasant and friendly. The music is really good, younger members of the party, mid-twenties, really enjoyed the vibe.
