My husband and I got married here on Friday and we can't thank the Norfolk Mead enough for giving us such a beautiful day. The staff here are incredible, this goes to the reception staff, housekeeping, the waiters/waitresses, bar staff and the wedding planners they literally can't do enough for you. You will also never have a bad meal here the food is amazing and are friends and family were extremely impressed. In terms of our day we couldn't thank Victoria and Francesca enough (the wedding organisers) for making are day run so smoothly. If you needed anything they were there, nothing was to much trouble and they were just lovely girls to have make our day go perfectly. James and Anna who have the Norfolk Mead should be very proud of their staff and we can't thank you enough for making our wedding day Perfect.
Stayed for our 1 year wedding anniversary. Unfortunately couldn't get the room we had for our wedding night as they were booked up. This didn't matter though. From walking in to the Norfolk mead the staff were very welcoming, the service-exceptional, everybody congratulated us on our anniversary. We had a superb meal. Best lamb dinner I've ever had, my wife had the cod and didn't say much other than 'wow' so clearly enjoyed it!
When we got back to our room that evening we were greeted with a lovely surprise gift from the staff (chocolates and champagne). Topped with a perfect breakfast the next morning. We've already rebooked for next year. Thanks Norfolk Mead you were fantastic!
We have just returned from a short break at the Norfolk Mead in Coltishall.
We were given great service above & beyond throughout our stay.
Our room was lovely, nice little touches. Dinner was simply stunning.. breakfast was lovely. The staff were so friendly & helpful.
Would highly recommend going for a nice relaxing break, in a beautiful setting.

Yesterday we were lucky enough to enjoy afternoon tea at this gorgeous place. We have stayed here on a couple of occasions and also enjoyed dinner on several occasions. Every time the service is wonderful, the food absolutely amazing, the staff always friendly and very attentive and the acomadation is impeccable. We love this lovely hotel. Always a great experience. We went to the Norfolk Mead for our anniversary this week and we had a fantastic time. The food was superb, the wine list extensive and the staff were exceptional. If I had one gripe, I would suggest that desserts are not the Chef’s forte. They were nice but not quite up to the standard of the starters or the main courses, which were some of the best we have eaten!
Absolutely wonderful! This is the second time we have stayed here and everything was as perfect as our previous visit in March 2015 when we stayed in Hawthorn, this time we were in Chanterelle with a lovely balcony and view over the garden down to the river. On arrival we ordered a light lunch and wine which was served in our room by friendly and attentive staff. After a relaxing afternoon we had a drink in the cosy bar before going through to the dinning room for dinner. It is so nice to stay in a hotel room which actually has a dressing table and mirror you can sit at to do your hair and makeup!
The peace and quiet of the hotel and surrounding is so relaxing. We will be sure to visit again in the future as we love it there!
Had a fabulous Sunday lunch here today, staff superb, very friendly atmosphere, will definitely recommend it and will be returning!

Norfolk Mead Hotel is an absolute gem of a place. We were gifted our stay by our children and they did good!! We stayed in Sea Beet which was beautiful, so comfortable and relaxing. The food is outstanding; we had a wonderful evening meal, the breakfast too is delicious. All of the staff are friendly and professional, nothing is too much trouble. We loved it here and will definitely be back.

I couldn’t fault the food or the attention to detail it was given..
The staff were helpful but not overbearing.
The Hotel is in great location next to the river Bure and I would highly recommend it.
We love The Norfolk Mead Hotel. My husband and I had our wedding there recently in The Garden room and honestly think we could not have picked a better venue. Frankie and Danni and the rest of the events team were a joy to work with to plan our perfect day. All of our guests stayed at the hotel too and everyone said how wonderful the rooms were. We stayed there for the whole of our wedding weekend and the room, food and customer service was outstanding. We will definitely be visiting again!
Incredible Afternoon Tea here! Had no idea it would be in such a beautiful relaxing room with a real fire & sofa chairs. Never had an afternoon tea like it, food delicious, staff were excellent & even arranged for me to be able to take extra cake home (as it was SO good). Highly recommend this experience, great value & unique.
From start to finish the Norfolk Mead delivers in every way. It's more like staying in someone's beautiful home with staff to look after you. The decor is traditional classic with a modern twist. Every room is inviting cosy and relaxing. Staff are incredibly warm, friendly and attentive. Big thank you to Ellie, Joe, Millie, Harriet and Connor who worked all weekend making our stay so relaxing and looked after us a treat. Then to top it all off the Chef's create and cook the most wonderfully delicious food! Looking forward to coming back and using the new spa facilities when they open.
Absolutely amazing place. The rooms are beautifully decorated and very comfortable, staff friendly and helpful, and the area is quiet and peaceful.
I did love nice little touches: brownie pieces in the room on arrival, good quality coffee, slippers and bathrobes, and first-class toiletries.

Me and my partner came for Afternoon Tea here today and it was perfect. We sat in the lounge near the fire and it was romantic and cosy! The Afternoon Tea was very tasty and we took a couple of the cakes home as we couldn't quite eat them all. The staff were very friendly and attentive. We will definitely be going back again and would love to stay the night.
A family group of us attended the New Year's Eve Party. It was only £30 each with canopes arriving every ten minutes. The food tasted great, the staff and quality of service were excellent.

We had our wedding at Norfolk Mead yesterday . We had the most amazing day! Frankie, Danni and Francesca have been brilliant from the beginning. So professional and organised . Nothing is too much trouble . They are knowledgeable and helpful and very calm . The venue setting is beautiful . The food and wines were amazing ! Staff were efficient and friendly . We really had the most wonderful wedding !!!

Afternoon tea with cousins and have to say service was excellent and food device. I would not want to deal with five mature ladies who once seated inside decided to eat outside. However lovely experience and ideal surroundings. Thank everyone at The Norfolk Mead Hotel. Best thing ever was a break from him indoors!
We stayed here for a few days after getting married locally and it was the perfect stay! We were upgraded to a suite which was stunning. Josh was fantastic and is a huge asset to the Norfolk Mead hotel. We also had dinner here on the first night which was delicious. Small portions but unbelievably filling! The gardens are beautiful and the perfect setting to relax and unwind. Recommend the recruiting sergeant too for dinner and drinks which is a short 15 minute walk away. Thoroughly recommended.
Just returned from a wonderful stay in Sea Beet. Staff very attentive, nothing was to much trouble. Food was incredible but its all the little touches you notice staying here compared to other places. Was an exceptional stay and will definitely return.

We went for a delicious afternoon tea. It was wonderful to sit out and enjoy the very pleasant gardens.
We were given the voucher as a Christmas present so cannot say whether it was value for money but there was certainly more than enough for two. Lovely selection of dainty sandwiches and cakes and scones with cream and jam.

We had our wedding at this gorgeous venue at the end of June! There was not much more to say other than that from start to finish, the whole team were perfect! We dealt with Frankie and Francesca whilst organising and both were extremely responsive, helpful and went above and beyond to make our day as special as possible! No question was too much trouble and I asked a lot of them!! We just want to say a huge thank you to both Frankie and Francesca and also to the whole team here! We cannot wait to revisit for our anniversary! A score of 10/10 doesn’t even seem to do it justice! I would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for their dream wedding venue!
Absolutely lovley little gem, very peaceful and the food was beautiful! Everything tasted amazing. The staff were also very kind and helpful. Went here for an afternoon tea with my mum and grandmother, safe to say we all had a great time.
