Just came back from having an Afternoon tea at the Norfolk Mead Hotel for my wife’s Birthday.
I couldn’t fault the food or the attention to detail it was given..
The staff were helpful but not overbearing.
The Hotel is in great location next to the river Bure and I would highly recommend it.

Norfolk Mead Hotel is an absolute gem of a place. We were gifted our stay by our children and they did good!! We stayed in Sea Beet which was beautiful, so comfortable and relaxing. The food is outstanding; we had a wonderful evening meal, the breakfast too is delicious. All of the staff are friendly and professional, nothing is too much trouble. We loved it here and will definitely be back.

From start to finish the Norfolk Mead delivers in every way. It's more like staying in someone's beautiful home with staff to look after you. The decor is traditional classic with a modern twist. Every room is inviting cosy and relaxing. Staff are incredibly warm, friendly and attentive. Big thank you to Ellie, Joe, Millie, Harriet and Connor who worked all weekend making our stay so relaxing and looked after us a treat. Then to top it all off the Chef's create and cook the most wonderfully delicious food! Looking forward to coming back and using the new spa facilities when they open.

Incredible Afternoon Tea here! Had no idea it would be in such a beautiful relaxing room with a real fire & sofa chairs. Never had an afternoon tea like it, food delicious, staff were excellent & even arranged for me to be able to take extra cake home (as it was SO good). Highly recommend this experience, great value & unique.

We love The Norfolk Mead Hotel. My husband and I had our wedding there recently in The Garden room and honestly think we could not have picked a better venue. Frankie and Danni and the rest of the events team were a joy to work with to plan our perfect day. All of our guests stayed at the hotel too and everyone said how wonderful the rooms were. We stayed there for the whole of our wedding weekend and the room, food and customer service was outstanding. We will definitely be visiting again!

A family group of us attended the New Year's Eve Party. It was only £30 each with canopes arriving every ten minutes. The food tasted great, the staff and quality of service were excellent.

I had the most amazing visit to this beautiful country house hotel.
The staff are great, the food AMAZING and the owners, Anna and James are warm, welcoming and consummate hosts.
I have no hesitation in highly recommending a stay.

Absolutely amazing place. The rooms are beautifully decorated and very comfortable, staff friendly and helpful, and the area is quiet and peaceful.
I did love nice little touches: brownie pieces in the room on arrival, good quality coffee, slippers and bathrobes, and first-class toiletries.
