The food here is so good, and I mean it was amazing. We had the drivers breakfast which was excellently cooked. The sausage was the best I think we have ever tasted it was local, and was a big one too. The eggs, beans and potatoes were perfect too. My daughter had the fish and chips and she ate it all which means only good things.
Now because we were visiting the Seaton tramway the driver said they also did cream teas, so on our second visit we had some of them while the kids had some ice cream. The scones were delightful and looked handmade, the cream and jam was also very very good.
When we visit here again we will definitely be back.
The staff were friendly and helpful. There is seating inside and out. If outside you sit on picnic benches and your food is brought too you (except the drinks). You can watch the trams go by with excited people.
Very highly recommend.
Some other good things here is that if your taking a dog they are allowed everywhere which is great news for when the weather isn't all that great too sit outside.
Thank-you to all the staff here, who were so accommodating for my mum's 80th birthday today. We were a party of 18, who were brilliantly catered for with the 'group buffet lunch'. A fantastic spread - the delicious scones were particularly noted by our group! The staff were so helpful from start to finish - allowing us to bring cake, presents and decorations in advance and letting us take 'doggy bags' away at the end! Mum throughly enjoyed her special day and the 'surprise party' in the middle of her tram journey!
Thank you to all - i highly recommend! ( I don't usually do a Google review - in fact, i believe it is my first, but i felt compelled to do so after such helpful staff- in a wonderful setting- made my mum's day special!)
Great toasted sandwiches and hot drinks. Plenty of seats inside and outside. One staff member was a little sharp as we were ordering but others were lovely.
Good place for a snack or drink before or after a ride on the tramway.
Friendly staff and the cafe does wonderful food. Huge slice of chocolate cake and cream tea was a treat after a great day travelling on the trams. Price very reasonable including items in the gift shop!
I've been riding the trams since I was a boy and feel extremely lucky to be able to take my own little boy on his own tram rides now.
It's a wonderful preservation of local history and is fun for all of the family
Tram ride hardly Blackpool standards lol but it was a nice experience for the morning&worth what was paid, just to keep the local nostalgia in tact&keep people in jobs, food at end of line cafe was just a nice finishing touch for all visitors&fans of yesteryear, its lovely to see responsible people running it& making a nice experience for all,not a common thing you see in this country anymore, which is ashame!! but definitely well worth a visit for anyone wanting a decent trip out.
Caught tram at Colyton free parking then got off at Seaton and spent some time there Pebbles cafe for Lunch good food and service
Tram experience was good staff and guides great when other stops in between are open it will be even better
Brilliant that they have accessable tams
The Tramway was our choice for the day. We’ve been before and it’s always fun to ride these trams down through the wetlands I don’t know much about the birds but it’s still good to see them.
The Tramstop is the tram station and uses the original station building from the railway that used to run down to Seaton. The shop and cafe are mainly used by the tram passengers but are open to all. I would certainly eat here even if I wasn’t coming to ride. There’s plenty to choose from but I particularly like the scones, either just with butter or with jam and cream. There’s vegetarian food as well if that’s your choice.
The Tramway and the Tramstop cafe are kid friendly, dog friendly, wheelchair accessible and all round good fun.
Parking is free at the Colyton Tramstop but you would need to pay somewhere at the Seaton end of the line.
Lovely tram ride to Colyton through the marshlands. Saw a fox, rabbits, hares, geese, swans, various ducks and wetland birds as well as sheep, cows and horses. Well worth the trip.
