I'd called in here for a brew after a walk and planned to return another day for food. So I brought my elderly mum today & we had a really delicious meal. I had the Italian bagel & mum had the dhal soup. Beautifully presented & even the side salad was super tasty! What have you sprinkled on there?? We shared a slice of Jaffa Cake after, and it was really good. If you're planning a walk, make sure you schedule a visit here!!
Lovely little café with friendly and excellent service even when busy. Full of cyclists. Great coffee and the cakes were beautifully presented and very tasty.

Great cafe, on a great cycle way so handy if cycling up towards Milnthorpe, a short detour from the A6 up to the lakes, great food, cakes and brews, friendly staff,
I purchased some coffee and some ice cream. I deem the coffee very nice. The children deemed the ice cream very nice. The staff were very nice, as was the decor in the venue. Prices were reasonable. If you are in the vicinity you should not hesitate to patronise said establishment.
A nice little cafe, next to a good walk, and very reasonably priced. Food was nothing fancy, but fine for a cafe stop. And they allow dogs in (and have dog ice cream) which is a bonus. The view is also great across to Glasson Dock.
Fantastic cakes, great atmosphere and friendly service. The dogs were very well catered for and loved thier doggy ice cream. Highly recommended!! Before or after (or both) a walk along the river.
I went to the Green Finch Cafe on Sunday, the food was very reasonably priced. Had I brought my camera I would have photographed the cake and its presentation, it was that good. The staff were also very friendly, I look forward to returning.
Great little cafe, we only stopped for a latte (vegan milk available) but we saw some of the food coming out and it looked great. Outside seating & dog friendly.
