Popped in for lunch after viewing the Sandhole Oak Barn Wedding venue, was greeted with a polite, lovely welcoming by Shane. He made our dinning experience 10/10. Food was fresh, homemade and just what was needed on a cold November day. Would highly recommend. Thank you team.

Set in beautiful countryside. Food was very nice - wasn't as good as I'd expected, based on the lovely building, and the chips with the meal were only just warm. Would be happy to visit again if we were in the area. There's outside seating and a little play area for the children which is fenced so it's safe.

I have not stayed here but have eaten here frequently since its refurbishment, there is always a cheerful welcome from the staff, the food has always been excellent and the service is always carried out politely although drinks can sometimes take a little while to arrive. I have noticed that there is one person in particular (appears to be management)who seems quite happy walking past tables that need clearing and having minimal verbal interaction with the customers. Really enjoy going here though, great relaxed atmosphere lovely surroundings and really good food. I would recommend.

It's an absolutely fantastic little place, great food and staff. Kids and dogs love it...I just wish they'd fix the damn toilet seats to the toilet. I like a good slide around but goodness me.... EDIT: they're fixed...yay!!! Happy happy happy

We stayed here on the eve of a wedding we attended at a venue close by. We hosted a big gathering on the night. Sent a pre order which was perfectly served according to our requirements, the food was delicious and the staff amazing. The whole site has recently been refurbished and what an amazing job has been done, it is totally unrecognisable to the place we first visited. The rooms were extremely comfortable and had everything we required. The breakfast was cooked to order and was delicious with very tasty ingredients. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Stayed here for a wedding at Sandhole Oak Barn. The B&B was a perfect walking distance (a grass path has been made away from the road for safe but muddy walking). The rooms are nicely renovated, very clean with everything you need in. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was excellent. Would stay again if in the area/at a local wedding!

Went for Sunday late lunch. Lovely nice new decor. Very welcoming staff. Very accommodating with regards our dog. Definitely dog friendly. Excellent food served with a smile and very helpful. Thank you Madison. You made our afternoon. Highly recommend and would visit again.

Lovely lunch. Fish and chips, best ever batter and cooked beautifully. Really enjoyed this restaurant. Staff very helpful and obliging.

Stopped off for a quick lunch. We had our two dogs with us and they were made very welcome in the bar section of the pub. Best BLT I've had in a long time. Beer was well kept and great service. Will definitely stop again.

There's been a recent refurb and is really lovely and airy. Lots of outside space for kids to play which is a godsend when trying to have a meal with a 21 month old toddler! We visited for Father's Day and ordered sunday dinners, the food was beautiful and was really impressed that they gave out handmade pork pies as a little Father's Day gift, it was unexpected and thought it was a really nice touch. Would definitely re-visit
