This is a beautiful located pub just outside Congleton by the canal service was second to none really made you feel welcome as soon as you arrived the fish and chips were beautifully cooked fresh battered fish with lemon the chips were the best chips I've had in a while and the mushy peas were smooth a perfect place to come if you are dropping in for lunch on your way along the Macclesfield Canal would highly recommend xx

Ate here while on a narrow boat trip. Location from the canal was great. Food was good. Service was good too.

What a fabulous meal we had, just dropping in. Fabulous food, great friendly staff, they let dogs in, great big outdoor area for all to use when weather is fit.
Clean, warm, highly recommend a visit, cus the food is fabulous with a great gluten free choice too.
You will not be disappointed.
Didn't see the rooms so cannot comment on these.
