First visit to this pub on the Congleton Jass Festival weekend & such a great atmosphere on arrival there, the pub was really busy but was still able to get served quickly at the bar & able to get a seat.
It also has a great seating area at the back of the pub with plenty of seating.
Not sure if it does food though.

Great traditional pub, the beer gardens are the highlight!
Pub was built in the 1400's and it retains this feel. Definately worth taking a trip there to try one of Beartown Brewery's unique range of craft ales.

Love this pub. It has a lovely, older world feel and has a great selection of real beers. The staff we absolutely lovely and their food was excellent and brilliant value. They have a £5 menu which is fantastic - had chicken curry with half rice, half chips and still can't believe it was only £5. Fully recommend this place

Excellent pub in the centre of Congleton. Quite small inside but that doesn't seem to say them offering live music. There is also large outdoor covered area that is also quite cozy. Sunday lunch is excellent here. Real Ale is local and very good quality.

Black and white pub with lots of character. Great outdoor area at the back with lots of enclosed areas and tables to have a good natter with friends. Really reasonably priced drinks and varied clientele.
Never had a bad night in there.
