The reindeer visit we wait for every year! The men who bring them from the North Pole 😉 are fantastic! Wish I could star rate those tbh! The play centre is amazing very sad the butchers has gone though!! 😔

We visited the Garden Centre for a quick lunch stop yesterday. The waitress service was prompt and polite, the menus clear and appealing. The food arrived quickly was was delicious, which we expected because the restaurant was obviously popular. You can't really go wrong here. A clean establishment serving fuss-free home-cooked food at great prices, with friendly staff. Try it. As for the garden centre, we ran out of time. Maybe next time?

Nice meal and service very good pleasant staff. But if you are visiting don't sit on the new white and gray wooden chairs they are more kids size than adult and very uncomfortable.

Superb support during a difficult medical issue ...Amy (first aider) was supportive compassionate and a great calming influence. She could not have done more. Charles, (owner) was attentive generous and supportive. Between them and the rest of the staff nothing was too much trouble. They really helped a difficult day. Thank you.

Castaway Play is a great place to take your young children. There are water and sand pits, slides and tree houses and lots of soft play.

Castaway play - 2 year old loved it here. Keep up the good work. Please add more choice to your sugar free soft drink selection for children and parents. Painfully slow table service at 1:30pm on a Thursday lunchtime from the main cafe which let down the overall experience of the visit. Enthusiasm of staff in Castaway made up for it, wish we had used their cafe instead.

The garden centre is very good but the service in the cafe was so bad we walked out. My husbsnd even went to the counter twice to see if he could order there but was told no it's waitress service. This is the second time we've been to the cafe and had the same poor service, we won't be going a third time

Lovely café, the shop sells all sorts of quality items too, from homeware, to clothes, cards, crafts, books, jewellery, plants and garden things. Their Christmas shop is extensive - the children love visiting. Their Santa is fab too. A great place to buy an unusual present for adults and children alike. Going for breakfast and a look round is a little treat for my toddler aged daughter esp when the Christmas shop and grotto is set up!

Lovely small garden centre. Some fine plants for sale. Nice ornaments and garden furniture. There's a great coffee shop and restaurant. Lovely cooked meals at reasonable prices with a wonderful staff. Car park and a play area with disabled access throughout.
