Been visiting Coniston for years and this has always been a place we've gone past and said "let's pop in there" and never have done. Made sure we went this year and we'll definitely be back. Lovely inside and every single staff member was so friendly. Didn't eat but will be doing on our next visit. Proper cosy pub.
The staff were really welcoming, we met the chef John and had a good laugh. The food was great and my partner said it's the best gluten free fish and chips she's ever had! Great atmosphere and very dog friendly
