The food was delicious, I have garlic mushroom for starters which is in a lovely sauce and salmon with asparagus and mash potato, which also had a nice sauce to accompany it.

Great no-nonsense pub, traditional pub food and good ales. Busy but good attentive service. Very generous food portions with a great quality and very affordable.

Worth a little stroll
Stopped for a quick half on a walk from Coniston. Nice pub, so stayed for lunch. Good food, too.
Good Food, taste was quite smokey but well cooked burger and steak. A bit on the expensive side buti guess the place and the view are worth the price.
The whole architecture has a vintave vibe and outside area is full of greens.

Visited this week, lovely friendly cosy pub. Great home cooked food and a nice selection of beers, particularly the Dizzy Blonde. Lucky to find a spot in the car park for our campervan.π
A lovely cosy bar and restaurant. Roaring fire and comfortable surroundings. Perfect to get out of the rain for a while. The food was delicious and the place is dog friendly. Would definitely recommend.
Enjoyed my visit. They were happy for us to bring our dog, Bernard and gave him his own bar snack- 2 pork sausages.
