Lived in the area for almost 2 years but hadn’t been.. came midweek (no booking) got our table really quickly.. Food was lovely and will definitely be returning.. Homemade chips are absolutely lush!

Whenever I visit my Dad's in Leadgate, I have to visit. It's my favourite place. The food is fantastic and very reasonably priced, most meals are about 12-13 quid. The Steak Pie is so good. I realised they do carverys too so I'll be trying one next time, the Yorkshires are massive!

Beautiful food every-time we have been. A-bit pricey but personally we don’t mind paying for good food. Staff all lovely. Service quick. Would definitely recommend

We visit our daughter several times a year and always go to The Jolly Drovers for food as it’s their local. Food is always amazing, excellent quality and very large portions! The staff are so friendly and professional and Karen, who was manager on duty that night was so kind and accommodating. I’ve never had pub food so delicious. Highly recommend! Thank you

Fabulous food - the portions are big and filling too! Lots of choice and some vegetarian options. Lovely, friendly staff and a pleasant atmosphere. Will definitely be back!

Lovely staff, very friendly and welcoming, service was fantastic.
Food was delicious, the chips were amazing. Only marked down a star for a few little things like my friends mentioned the bread on their subs was dry and my chicken was a little dry too.
Still thoroughly enjoyed my first visit and would happily return.

The staff are the best I've ever come across, anywhere, they're welcoming, polite, attentive & nothing you ask or request is a bother to them. The carvery is lovely too, very tasty & even the chefs are friendly! It's a great family pub & always very clean & tidy. They're also very keen to support & help those less fortunate, especially the homeless & donate food to a charity food kitchen, who are always extremely grateful.

Loved it! We're just on holiday and wound up here just because we wanted a local pub. Arrived for dinner on a bank holiday (Aug 28) and discovered a packed full place - families, date night, all kinds of folks. Super friendly and attentive staff. And delicious food: we got the baked Camembert starter and steak pie entree. Shared both and still couldn't finish it! After seeing some of the carvery options - like that Yorkshire Pudding - we're wishing we could return!!

What a beautiful meal at The Jolly Drovers.
The staff were all committed to great service and were very friendly.
The atmosphere was awesome and the whole menu looked amazing.
We chose the steak and the hot beef baguette, both meals were absolutely delicious.
The steak was cooked to perfection and the hot beef melted in your mouth.
Our desserts were heavenly - red velvet cheesecake and raspberry ripple ice cream.
10 out of 10 from us - we will definitely be back!
