Lovely little classic pub with great views at the rear, we drove past on way to derwent manor, would be a great stop off for any bikers etc. Bombardier beer on tap is lovely

Been coming to the village for something like 30 years never been in the Fleece until yesterday evening walking the dog. Unlike a previous review I had a warm welcome from landlord & landlady as well as the friendly "locals". Also a splendid view of the sunset over the Fells.

It is at the end of the village you can go in for a drink but they don't sell food,
It runs by a husband and wife who are elderly.
