My cousin and myself were in Wales for a week in September. We visited Conwy town for the day and with recommendations from a person whom we spoke to that day we decided to visit The Archway's and we both got the deal which was fish and chips each with bread and pot of tea. The fish and chips I had from here were absolutely delicious best I've had for a long time. Will definitely go there again. Chips are fab crispy golden and not all clagging together like some outlets. I ate every last one outside in the sunshine in the nearby square. Prices are good too. Loads of benches and a fountain to enjoy. Al fresco dining on the cheap.

Superb, fish chips, tuna salad sandwich, pot of tea, all delicious, our family all agreed, clean plates all round. Dog friendly too, our dog was very quiet and well behaved. The staff were very polite and attentive. Would definitely return next time I am in Conway. The whole inside filled up quickly so get there as early as you can for lunch or be prepared for a wait, it will be well worth it

Busy takeaway, good choice on menu. Friendly staff , fast service. We ordered takeaway Mega Burger, & large chips and fish & chips . Good size portions , the fish was delicious, batter was lovely thin and crispy , chips crispy, great burgers and everything very tasty , lovey and hot . Liked fact was in recyclable containers and not squashed in bags . Not greasy either.

I don't go here often enough it is always clean and tidy. A very good choice of hot food to take out or there is a restaurant you can dine in with table service if I am going to one of the chippys in Conwy this would be my first choice every time

Got the large cod fish an chips with a gravy. Fish potion was decent and reasonably thick in the centre. Batter was crispy and not soggy. Fish moist. Gravy was thick and tasty. Chips were cooked well and not soggy or greasy. I recommend the archway. Hopefully your experience will be as good.

Fabulous! Highly recommended.
This place is brilliant for food intolerances. I ate in the restaurant part and had gluten-free fish & chips. They even had gf Peroni. The back of the menu is great for check ingredients.
**NOTE** The restaurant closes at 1930 hours, which isn't clear on google, but the takeout counter is open until 2100 hours.
