Awesome breakfast, particularly the waffles with bacon, and excellent coffee. Nice relaxing atmosphere, could have and probably should have sat there all day drinking cocktails by the big bay window. Top class.

Just to re-address the Balance - I have dined in the Duck House multiple times, firstly while living in Corbridge and then as a treat on occasions due to living further away, each time I have dined here the experience has been fantastic or why would I return the host often Jack has been simply perfect offering opinions on the dishes and compliments on the orders.
The décor or the restaurant is very appealing to me due to the artwork always on display – the food is fantastic and the presentation and quality is of the highest standard.
I can highly recommend this restaurant to everyone.

Absolutely no idea how this superb little bistro slipped through the net but if anybody wants a tranquil quaint drink of prosecco or a pint of peroni in exquisite settings then this is the best option for you, absolute five star! 😎
