We had a lovely meal with friends and the food was great, the server was patient, polite and helpful. He and the kitchen cheerfully made minor menu changes to vegetables. The widow frames have all been changed recently, so look very smart, but curtains, chairs and tables are ready for refurbishment. This did not detract from our overall pleasure though.

For a local budget ‘pub’ option it’s great, extremely well priced, great for those on a tight budget or just looking for simple food. Loved the sharing starter platter. Food was okay overall, perfectly fine. Restaurant is in need of a good deep clean/update but overall considering the prices it was good.
The staff were fantastic & lovely.
Was able to use blue light card discount seamlessly.

Only went there for a drink so don't know what the food is like... carelessly put my drink on a Santa straw and it spilt over my female companion. Staff replaced it straightaway. Excellent service...

Always good, service and food. Restaurant always clean and tidy, we enjoy our visits here, we often come in here on our way back from the City . Would recommend.

Modern clean restaurant and bar. Service was friendly but not very quick. OK, for a relaxing meal, but not if you are on the clock. The latest menu appears more restricted, and prices have increased. There is a cheap deal for 2 meals, which looks good value. See the back page of the menu booklet for details.
We were disappointed by the Sunday roast; however, our waitress was very good and resolved the issue.
