It's with sadness that feel I need to write this poor review.
I call in this bakers whenever I'm in the area . Called in today for a bacon roll and jam doughnut. …
Nice in theory, and maybe they had an off day when we went but the cookies and pastries we got were really just not good. Haven’t tried the savory goods or bread but I would personally not get pastries or cookies here. I do look forward to coming back to try their other offerings as obviously it’s good to support local business.
Visited for the first time today. We had 2 sausage rolls, apple danish and a ring donut. Service was lovely, shop was clean and tidy. Everything looked so yummy, I could have bought it all. Very reasonably priced and will definitely be coming back!!!!
I always pop into this bakery when passing for the past 20yrs. The cakes are amazing and it’s reasonably priced. The purpose of this review is due to the last two visits where I noticed multiple wasps on and around the food. Not a great look or hygienic. The staff commented on them but clearly not doing anything about the situation.

I used to use this bakery for 11 years and it was lovely, but three years ago I moved away and the other day I was passing and popped in, Staff were as friendly as ever and I purchased an apple doughnut and an apple turn over, the contents when I got home were very unimpressive. Is there an apple shortage now!!!!
