Had a lovely meal tonight with Lesley, Bernie and Irene.
Brilliant staff and fantastic food
Lovely atmosphere they really look after you nothing is too much trouble,
Would recommend to family and friends xx
Thank you to all staff and chefs, waiters etc xx
Not quite sure what to say about this place..... Great friendly , funny and welcoming service and the truly fantastic food , couldn’t recommend this place enough, can’t wait to come again .
Friendly staff ... I just don't like the welcome drink... Other than that everything is good. And the maharaja table is perfect for two people with pre set menu.
It is congested for large of 4 or more to dine in. Food quality is nice and tasty.
It was our first visit to tumeric gold, I was a bit taken back by the ostentatious style. I spent the first 10 minutes trying to absorb the theatrical tinsel setting of this restaurant, which if im being honest was cosy ....
The food, well it was a bit pricey over all and while i did enjoy my coconut chilli chicken dish, with plenty of chicken I felt the sauce was a little bit runny, which nearly tempting me in to ordering another nan bread.
In relation to the service, well it was really good, the waiters were extremely courtous and while the venue was busy i didn't feel i was being rushed to move on.
I would return again but I do think it is a bit over priced, but worth a visit if your celebating special occasion.
More expensive but worth it!. A great night out for us and our friends, a really nice atmosphere, wonderful food, and the service was very quick and professional have been three times and the place is the same every time!
Worth the Money!. Pricy meal BUT WORTH IT! It is absolutely delicious and authentic! The service was quick and efficient. Definite must go! Probably the best indian food in Coventry.
Love, love, love it!!!! Intimate, but not small, and very authentic! Much more than just a curry house, this is like being trasported to the heart of India! Waiters are friendly and will take time to talk about the food, explaining how spicy the food is accurately. It is more expensive than others, but well worth it. The food is cooked in water, not oil, so not so fattening if you ate watching your weight! The decor is breath taking, the atmosphere is relaxed and the food is delicious and very well presented. If you are looking for the entire Indian experiance this is a must, and I can guarentee you will be going back again and again!!
It's a really lovely Indian restaurant; excellent service and beautiful food. Not a curry house but a lovely restaurant with a lovely decor and ambiance set in a medieval building.
Prompt service and styled with a difference. Meals are more expensive than other places £10-13 but worth it.
Amazing food, the owner makes the effort to ensure the spices just right for individual palettes. Best fine dining in the Midlands. Beautiful decor and relaxed atmosphere. Staff are very friendly. It is pricey but well worth the whole experience
The food at Turmeric Gold was incredibly tasty. Each dish was bursting with flavor, and the use of minimum oils, colorings, and salts made it feel like a healthier dining experience without sacrificing taste.
The staff were not only nice but also very attentive. They made sure we had everything we needed and were knowledgeable about the menu, which enhanced our overall experience.
The ambience of the restaurant was beautiful, thanks to its historic setting in a 13th-century building. The medieval character and charm created a relaxed and sophisticated vibe that added to the dining pleasure.
Turmeric Gold offers a delightful dining experience with delicious food, attentive staff, and a charming ambience. It's definitely worth a visit if you're in Coventry.
The best Indian we have ever been. From the moment you enter Turmeric Gold you feel already why is the best Indian in Coventry and after having eaten there we would dare to say the best Indian in UK.
We loved the building (700 years of history) the decoration (which take you straight away to India) and the food (the tastiest and delicious mix of the spices).
The menu is incredible and they also have different experiences and vegan options.
We cannot stop thinking how good and tasty the food was and what an amazing dinner we had.
The staff made our experience even better and cared all along about our experience and comfort.
A must if you are around Coventry and if not worth to go.
We went to the Tumeric after my Sons graduation.
The staff were fabulous and couldn't be more helpful, and the service was excellent.
The food was of exceptional quality.
Thank you so much for making special.
Went here last night place is set in a lovely old building. Nice little amuse buse and a cute mango sorbet to refresh palate.
Our dishes was a lamb dish and a mixed grill. Absolutely delicious food. Staff were really lovely and welcoming. Not your average Indian restaurant food. Would go back again. My new fav.
Absolutely wonderful relaxed meal throughly enjoyed three course meal. Each so delicious and flavourful. Atmosphere amazing 💯 recommend to anyone looking for a romantic evening
Didnt have any expectstion but they delivered! Authentic spices of Indian food, friendly service and the chefs gave us some appetizer on house and mango lasi to tru. Really enjoyable nights with colleagues. Minus point only on the inside decoration, the outside one is really nic3 tho.
We went for our wedding anniversary. Lovely welcome, nice calm pace to the meal, delicious food and great atmosphere. It is more on the expensive side, but was well worth it for a special meal.
A wonderful experience for our daughter and friends graduation. We had journey banquet. It gave the opportunity to try so many dishes. A surprise at the end. They really enjoyed it.
Food and service was amazing, loved my Turmeric Gold experience 👍
