This place is a little gem.... the food was awesome, the staff are lovely and they were not phased in the least by our party of 16 ..... perfect!! Would definitely recommend it .....

Never visited but ordered from Blue Orchid on Just Eat. I was pleasantly surprised that the food arrived within just 25 minutes although it said 60 minutes. The food was packed impressively well to remain warm & prevent spills. Had Thai Red Curry and Fried Rice, both were delicious. For 2 people, 1 portion of curry and 2 portions of rice should suffice. Quite happy with the takeaway service and may visit the restaurant soon.

I had come here first when I had just come into coventry and thought I'd visit again with the friends. We were 4 people and the restaurant had around 4/10 tables occupied when we walked in. The staff took about 4-5 mins to get us seated after asking us to wait in the lobby for a bit. Once seated, they took our drink orders and starter orders. The drinks and starters were all good and we ordered tom yum with shrimp which was great! We ordered chicken satay and these fried chicken pieces wrapped in a certain green leaf. The satay was great while the other starter was okay. As we were already a bit full, we thought we'd order a few mains and share it among the 4 of us. However, what kind of put me off is the policy they have that atleast one main dish must be ordered per person. He said he'd bend the rules since we'd ordered a lot hence we'd ordered the 2 starters and added 2 mains and 3 bowls of Thai jasmine rice. We ordered a Thai green curry and Thai red curry which were cooked well and tasted above average. The entire meal though cost us a bit too much with 2 non alcoholic and 2 alcoholic drinks of around 75 pound.
A warm, welcoming atmosphere and busier than expected given it was a Monday.
The waiter was very patient with us, as we struggled to pick from the large menu which contained two cuisines (Indian and Thai). Throughout the service was excellent and they were very hospitable.
For starters, we ordered the mixed meat and veg platter. The onion bhajis were a highlight. The samosas needed a bit more flavour and punch, the meats were well cooked and tasted nice.
For mains, we ordered the veg korma and duck Red Thai curry. Both were huge portions! The korma was well balanced, sweet and tasted great. The red Thai curry was on another level. A beautiful balance of spice, sweetness from the coconut and acidity from the lime. I was impressed by the amount of vegetables in both curries and the duck melted in the mouth.
Given that we booked through the fork app (50% off food) it was great value. The portions were very large, waiters were excellent and the mains were fantastic.
Had the Valentines dinner here, second year in a row. Very lovely atmosphere. Staff are very professional. Good drinks.
Soups were great with seafood. Packages were jammed packed but still a bit pricey. Good though, would eat again
Very nice, first time I've been there and the food was really good and served quite fast. The restaurant is bigger than it seams and there is a nice, quite music in the background. There is also a very useful wireless system on each table to call for service, drinks, bill etc. Will definitely visit again!
I went here with my husband. Good ambience and friendly staff. We had Pad Thai Chicken Noodles and Blue Orchid Tiger Prawns Fried Rice with Blue Lagoon and Mango Juice. We really enjoyed our dinner here. Will visit this place again.
Fantastic night celebrating my 60th birthday with family, 15 of us ordered and the food all came out together and was so good. Would definitely recommend 👌

Everything tasted so fresh and full of flavour. We ordered scallops, which even though we're delivered, were cooked perfectly and very fresh!
A bit more expensive than a normal takeaway, but the quality was definitely worth it!
I love the Massaman curry with Tofu I cannot get enough of this curry especially paired with the coconut rice. I wish they did juices to go with them but the food is so great. Thank you Blue Orchid.
A very nice Thai and Indian selection at a restaurant that's generally a hidden gem tucked away just out of the main town centre. Everytime I've been there has been quiet (in the sense of, there's groups there but no rowdiness) which makes for a good setting for a get together. Prices are reasonable too and service is okay.
Had such a lovely evening at blue orchid! Food was absolutely beautiful and staff were lovely! Will definitely eat here again! Can’t recommend enough
