We visited for Mother's day lunch last weekend. The Sunday dinners are always gorgeous here, and the starters on the set menu were well received too. I had the Thai fishcakes which were beautiful, others ordered the mushroom soup which was also delicious - we all end up trying a bit of each others because it was presented so invitingly! One person in the party is a coeliac and the staff catered to this with gluten-free alternatives.
It was a really busy day and the staff were attentive and cheerful despite being in the midst of the lunch rush. Thanks for a great afternoon!

The food arrived pretty much on time. I'd already warmed plates and after literally 30 seconds in the microwave we sat down to a really tasty, filling roast and perfect crumble for dessert. Would definately order again or better still eat at the restuarant when we return to normality! Thanks Bayley Lane Kitchen.

I Will definitely be coming back! We came here for a family lunch, the food was amazing (all our plates were clean!) and great value for money. Service was great too! Better than Cosy club, botanist, bistro Pierre etc.

Superb service, high quality food and warming and helpful staff.
We arrived a little after our reservation with the kitchen almost closed, they opened up the kitchen for us and brought us food in less than 20 minutes!! Absolutely outstanding I can recommend the fish and chips, fresh fish and delicious mashed peas with very tasty tartar sauce and chips. Also had the opportunity to try the soup of the day (parsnips soup) which came with two good slices of bread. The facilities have been very carefully decorated and give a very relaxed and comfortable atmosphere it almost feel like home.
All in all I will recommend it because of the high quality food, speed of service and the staff!

Came for Sunday lunch. Place was very quiet, though it started to get busier as we left. Food was excellent, and it's nice to watch it being prepared! Tried to book online but the website booking didn't work, and it also doesn't mention being open on Sundays. Partner wanted a beer but they only have lager, he likes real ales. Will visit again and try out the cocktails!

Arrived on a Sunday and was seated by a pleasant waiter, very friendly. We had looked at the menus before we arrived online, however what they advertised was slightly different to what we saw when we arrived. The website needs to be updated.
I ordered the Sunday Roast (Beef) this was very delicious, some of the veg was slightly undercooked but overall very nice!
I'd definitely come back for another roast.

Really lovely place to go and eat. Lovely fresh food that you can see being cooked.
Very clean and the staff were chatty and friendly. Good choice of vegetarian and gluten free food.
Great lunch time menu. Fully stocked bar. Nice background music creating a great ambience.
Love the decor. Quite steampunk but also modern.
Nice views towards the old cathedral and the old parts of Coventry.
