The Botanist Coventry Bar & Restaurant

It was quite expensive for sunday lunch. It tasted good, but there was too much salt on the potatoes. £52 for sunday lunch, just a main and 2 cokes, is rather expensive. Service was slow on entering. We waited ages to be seated, even though it wasn't busy. For some reason, even though it was empty, they had a tendancy to sit people next to each other when they didn't need to. We moved tables after being seated, as did another group. Food was tasty, decor nice although could do with a good clean especially in the toilets. Few tweaks it could be a brilliant place.

Beautiful venue! Food was absolutely delicious. Probably one of the best Sunday roasts I've had - good sized portions and everything was cooked perfectly. The stuffing is worth a separate mention as it was amazing. It was pretty busy when we arrived so staff were pretty stretched but this didn't deter from our experience. Highly recommend a visit, will definitely be returning asap!

This is undoubtedly best-decorated bar restaurant in Coventry, in my opinion. My other buddy, who was with me, was likewise thrilled with the atmosphere. We were unable to dine because they were fully booked and we had not pre-booked. However, because the bar was not full, we were able to have a drink and relax. I would definitely comeback.

Last minute turned up with 11 people....On a Tuesday evening. The team were super accommodating and were great. I have to say that the decor and environment were pretty good and you could have been anywhere in the world (although in this instance Coventry). Food was good, colleagues were good and I'd definitely visit again

I wish there was a 6th star option, went to celebrate a birthday and not only was the food and drinks amazing, the waitress was the sweetest ever and brought out a decorated board with a free dessert on it and happy birthday hand written on it in drizzle?! Definitely one of the best most beautiful bars in cov!

A lovely charming place with great atmosphere. I had dinner here on Friday night, lots of good vegan options and service was amazing. It's really beautiful inside and they have seating on 2 levels. Live music was playing Friday evening and the band took music requests. Will certainly be back for more, when I'm back in Coventry.
