Tasty food and a calm atmosphere, exactly for someone who’s missing home. I tried cheese nan, chicken madras curry and poperdoms with drinks. It was a wonderful experience. The food was really tasty. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you’re in Coventry and love Indian food.

Akbar's is quite famous among Asian community in Coventry for it's Indian food which is tasty, spicy and comes at a reasonable price. There serving size is good too. Decor and Ambience is OK. Walking distance from City Centre is another plus point.

Food & service were great, only downer was we sat in the isle on route to the kitchen so was a bit busy,other than that i would recommend.

Good example of Indian restaurant. Service good and prices match what you get in terms of quality food, service and ambience. If using take away though always check your order before leaving! Recommended.

Arguably one of the best indians in cov. Everything is perfect and hospitality is the great. maybe a little too perfect seems like rehearsed effect. food is brilliant though and they do a large range of it too... evenly priced meals around £7

The most fantastic curry restaurant ever food delicious always so tasteful and fresh atmosphere and staff all very friendly and greet you warmly every time you go, we have been going there for a number of years as a family of four and never had cause to complain. We have been going to this restaurant for the past 8-9 months while working in the area, the best Indian I have eaten in, by far. Staff are brilliant and the service is great. Always packed on a Saturday night!

I was here on a busy Saturday night with some friends. Although it was very busy (we had booked in advance) the service was excellent. One of my friends had specific dietary requirements that they happily met. I have had the same dish in several restaurants in the last few months but this was the best that I have had. No complaints. I plan to add this to my take-away venue list.

Booked a table for our sons 21st birthday meal and the staff was very welcoming and lovely….service was great the food was 10/10 ….they even brought the cake out and all sang happy birthday ! then gave him a birthday drink. They was brilliant we will definitely be back.
