Always a good selection of real ales. Good sized portions of traditional pub grub, tasty and well priced.
Loyalty card scheme gives you a free pint for every 12 purchased. Live football and Rugby on the screen. Live music. Not full of Chavs.

Excellent throughout our visit, great selection of beers 🍻, reasonably priced. Food menu was excellent and very well presented and excellent value for money 💰
We chose to go here as it is dog friendly. Which was wonderful the barman gave us a bowl of water and the kitchen supplied a gammon for him
Excellent experience and will definitely be returning very soon, I would recommend it to anyone especially to dog owners 😀

Always a good pint, basic hearty meals never fail to satisfy. The beer garden is lovely when the sun is out, and the large canopy area outside protects from the rain when it isnt. Can get very busy. Will keep going back.

Definitely a place to visit, lovely friendly staff. Booked as part of a celebration meal after attending a local competition at the Skydome arena, Around 30+ people including children, all kids loved the food as well as adults, all lovely fresh hot food served. Staff really went above and beyond to ensure we all have a lovely time. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the local area.

I booked here as we had a huge group of 38, Andrew was very accommodating sending me the menu prior so we could all order. Was a good choice of food and was super tasty 😋. I would not hesitate in booking the Gatehouse Tavern again so friendly and professional staff ... Thank you guys for the night to complete our weekend.

Great venue, reserved garden tables for a large group and we were treated so well and felt so welcome. Great food, great atmosphere and reasonably priced. Would definitely return if we visit Coventry in the future.

What a cracking pub. Great selection of beer, warm welcome, free food on the bar (it was a Sunday) and a lovely garden in the city centre. Great value too.

Excellent food and drink. Very friendly bartender who was knowledgeable about the different beers on offer. Had walked to the pub via the canal from Hawksbury Junction, so was in need of a good rest!

Well what a find...nice little pub with fantastic food friendly helpful staff. Great choice of beers ales and lots more. We had the rump steak sandwich doorstep on proper hand cur bread which came with chips and salad....bostin! Nice beer garden and outdoor bbq Next time we are in Coventry this is the first stop!
