As all JDW, the atmosphere is always there!
The food was prompt and nice.
Complaint time! The ladies' toilets were dirty what looked like from the night before.
Several tables still had dirty plates on.

Nice city centre pub. A big area for sitting to have food which is always good. The main area is a bit awkward shaped but if you get a table by the windows it's good. Bar can get busy but you can always order through the app and have drinks or food brought to your table. Toilets are upstairs and in general it's a nice place, can get noisy and bits need some TLC, but worth a visit as its the cheapest place for a decent beer. Staff are always friendly and the place is welcoming.

I went with a friend around busy hours. Staff were courteous and fast, and we were able to find seating without difficulty. The dinner was reasonably priced and arrived fast. We both loved the food's quality and the overall experience. I would recommend giving this place a try.

Came here for lunch on Saturday - it was super busy but we managed to find a table upstairs. The staff were super friendly and hard working and the place was clean overall. One of the best Wetherspoon pubs I’ve been to. Will likely be back. :)

It was our first full day in the UK after traveling from Florida, USA so an obligatory stop at a Wetherspoons was in order and the Flying Standard was very conveniently located near the Coventry Cathedral. As is usual, good Fish and Chips with an Ale and a Cider.

Busy pub surrounded by shops,handy for food didn't eat here though , lots of steps to the ladies toilet, disabled toilet downstairs though on ground floor

Affordable place and its served very quickly. Loaded fries with the grilled chx katsu curry and the bbq chx panini very very good definitely filling
