Morse Tavern

Let me start by saying that it was a great experience. We had no wait time getting seated. For appetizers, we ordered the fried mozzarella. It came with basil, and marinara. The basil was a nice touch. It gave it much flavor. I ordered the bacon burger, and my girlfriend ordered the seafood combo. Our food was hot, and cooked to our liking. We got to sit by the nay window, which had a very nice ambience to the setting of the restaurant. The server was very nice, and even let us know that he was vaccinated as well. I recommend coming here if you are in the Coventry area.

Outstanding. My wife and I went today for a late lunch. There is plenty of parking. Was not busy and were seated immediately overlooking the lake. My wife uses a Rollator Walker and the host, was our server, Anthony, happily assisted her to the table. He held her chair for her and moved her chair in for her. He put her Rollator off to the side within her reach. Definitely an employee to emulate. The food was very good. My wife had clam chowder, she said it was great. She had baked Haddock, mashed potato and mixed veggies. The Haddock itself was great, it just had too much water for her liking, but very enjoyable. Potatoes were great. The Zucchini and onions were very good and the carrots a tad too firm. I had a steak, onions, peppers and cheese sandwich with fries. It was great. The steak was very good and the peppers and onions were actually sautéed and very enjoyable. The fries were fresh an very good. As always, I had black coffee. It was fresh, bottomless and extremely good. My wife had a glass of Sprite with a twist (not watered down!) That was great. Anthony, from start to finish, was outstanding. Friendly, knowledgeable, courteous and definitely a good server knowing to check on the meal and drinks. We will be back. No disappointments.

Very good food. The drinks were good. The only problem really is getting a table and sitting down. There were plenty of empty tables and yet we were told a 35 minute wait. We ended up eating at the bar which was fine but I would have preferred to be seated at a table. We've been back several times now. The food is very good. Great pizza and burgers. The bartender's are not the friendliest. Our server was excellent and did a great job. The kitchen is definitely slow. Everytime we've eaten at Morse it's taken a very long time to get served your meal. Love the back deck on Tiogue Lake with the carp swimming up to the table.

Thank you very much we had an amazing experience here and the food was amazing. We had great Service, If you want to be treated like a valued guest this is the spot for you. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a solid meal. You did not feel rushed you could enjoy your meal. The food was delicious, and the prices are reasonable as well. We will be returning soon.
