Dhillons Plaice

2nd time of going 1st I just popped in on way past for a quick sausage and chip dinner late back from work and a watched someone in front having there food prepped kebab in naan having already ordered I thought I would go back and try if what I had was any good well I went back tonight parked in the side street alot of roadworks making access difficult courtesy of national grid and a badly managed site enough space on the road to make it safe for customers but no make every one walk in the road or cross twice with no crossing point or diversion in place could tell it was a Friday and workers wanted to leave early speaking to Dhillon he had been quite down in trade due to there presence although will be gone by middle of next week and a new pavement entrance but I'm so glad I visited for the second time the naan with mixed meat and salad was amazing full of flavour and filling and chips on form again friendly staff and I might try the fish next week or the platter but think the ultimate would feed a family not just me and the wife but will have to try as has my interest now after seeing it on the menu but then two people had the fried chicken while I was in there today so that's on my list to try too!! See you again soon hopefully the new entrance makes this week's disruption worth it 👌

Portion sizes are huge, the family couldnt finish the large portion of chips. All tasty and well cooked. Great price too. We had fish, Donner meat and chips in a tray. One minor gripe is the shop is very small and not really enough space to queue. Wouldn't be a problem in the summer as you can stand outside and wait, but in the dark winter months this might be a bit of an issue.
