The Green Dragon - Coventry - Photo album

Completely exceeded my expectations. I expected this place to be your regular gastropub, but then got a level of excellence which is rare to find around the Coventry dining scene! Huge congratulations, from the lovely staff to the next level food, I am very impressed. I ordered a fish and chips dish
Well, I've never been to a pub with theatre seats before! We decided to give the GD a go after realising that Selmina's nearby was full. The food was gorgeous - intriguing and delicious. Locally sourced. Great service too, and they're happy to do kids' portions of items on the menu. The only catch w
This was one of those happy occurrences where you think you’re going for a standard night out with friends & the food would be incidental. We were talking about the food from the starters to the desserts. The chef here is very good. The lamb neck croquettes are sublime, as is the Pearl barley riso
All the dishes were full of different flavours. Imaginative presentation, decent portion sizes and super tasty. The textures of chocolate dessert was a bit special! Friendly and attentive service. Upstairs has a nice cosy yet stylish atmosphere.
The food was amazing , and so was the service. The food tasted amazing and everything seemed fresh. I had the raviloi for starters and burguer for main meal , while my gf had the sausage and mash with gravy and brownies with ice cream for dessert. My meal was 10/10 and so was her, her gravy was so
Amazing food, you've got to give it a go. Staff are great too

Dropped in for an unplanned late afternoon drink and bite to eat. Made very welcome by Amy, (which is not always the case for a solo diner with a small dog) and the food was absolutely world class. Couldn't decide which of the many items on my 3 'small' plates was the most delicious - even the flat
What a hidden gem! Went with friends Friday, was so blown away that I booked a table for Saturday night. Wonderful cocktails, with slight quirky twists, winter margarita is a must! Everything ordered was a delight, highlights were the mushrooms on toast, fillet steak... o my god the peppercorn sauce
Absolutely stunning pub! Really beautiful with enthusiastic staff who seem to genuinely enjoy working here. The food was simply amazing, I had the Sunday roast with a goats cheese salad and couldn't stop raving about how delicious and well presented everything was. Absolutely my favourite recommenda
