The Yard Pizzeria

Our second visit in a couple of months and a late booking which was welcomed. We ate different pasta dishes for the first time which were filling and full of flavour (I tend to go for their pizzas because they’re always good). Service and atmosphere was good and its always such a lovely local place to go

Sat and dined al fresco last night outside @theyardpizzacowbridge a lovely little find on the high street. All the food was fresh and the service was fantastic. The sunshine made it feel like sitting outside a pizzeria in Rome! We had the Garlic dough sticks which were full of a pungent garlic flavour that smashed you in the face on these crispy little slices of dough. We also tried the arancini, but these were sadly not as good, they were very crispy but the mixture inside was very wet and mushy, still full of flavour and presented perfectly leaving us slightly underwhelmed. The pizza dough was fresh and crispy whilst still doughy at the same time, and the toppings were all high quality and again full of flavour, my only negative would be the sauce was a bit runny for my liking. Will return for another visit as overall the food was fantastic and less than £40 well worth it. Food Quality - ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Value for money - ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Overall Experience - ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I absolutely love visiting the Yard in Cowbridge, Emily & Co are always so welcoming, attentive and the relaxed environment makes for a really enjoyable evening. The pizzas are to die for, the dough is cooked to perfection and made in house, which is a rarity these days. The pasta dishes are delectable, rich, and packed with fresh ingredients served piping hot. If you’re looking for an evening of fun packed with gastronomical delights, look no further than this fabulous venue! 5 Stars!

The Yard is a really strong addition to the Cowbridge foodie scene. All pizzas freshly prepared in house with high quality Italian flour and tomatoes and topped with plenty of local ingredients. The huge wood fired pizza oven is the star of the show along with the lovely staff. Nice range of sides and pastas if that's your thing, but the pizzas are first class. My Pedwar Caws with Welsh cheese disappeared in no time. The restaurant itself is a good space and very family friendly and the food fairly priced. Just add a cple of Welsh and Italian gins to the menu and it will be perfect!

Lovely place 🍕 , our pizzas were delicious , staff were friendly , atmosphere was good and the decor ^ design of Pizza Restaurant works well when busy and if you bring small children. They do Comedy shows the last Sunday of each month and also deliver pizza as well as alcohol to certain areas close to Cowbridge! They can cater for Celiacs and Vegans. We are returning for the next Comedy Show 😜
