We called in for a few beers after a long walk with the dogs and were made really welcome. Good crowd of locals in who made us welcome and fussed the dogs. Service was spot on and it was great to sit in a proper, proper, proper pub with a great pint and great atmosphere. Dog friendly too.

We just popped into the bar for a quick pint, it is a very quirky bar, very old fashion with the timber beams on the ceiling, it was enjoyable just sitting taking in the atmosphere. The Guinness was OK.
