I've been there twice now, once for the carvery and the other for the a la carte menu. It was good both times. The carvery is as expected, good. The menu is quite good too. They are a Greene King restaurant and pub but they have a different menu from the usual ones, much better ones. Good cake selection as well.
Visit frequently for both breakfast and evening meals with various different groups, family, friends and children. Always receive a warm friendly welcome. Food is excellent quality, quantity and service is efficient and not overly intrusive. Venue is clean and facilities in good working order. Never had any issues personally but if we have overheard any complaints, they are always dealt with quickly and effectively. Only negative would be the change of the breakfast menu pricing as previously we could order different sizes but now pay one set price and additional cost for tea/coffee, although the breakfast is delicious the price is significantly increased. Big positive is the Blue Light discount which would make us choose this venue over others, and location as is very close to home, with ample parking. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely carvery. Good value as well. Yorkshire's were massive. Desserts were awesome as well.
We came here during the week last week with my mam her partner and my 11 month old little girl.
We wanted to know if there was any baby seats for my little girl and we got told we couldn’t sit at a booth and put her in the end which was understandable but a shame as hardly anyone was in. But the lady I spoke to was absolutely lovely and she was soo apologetic when she didn’t even need to be.
I didn’t want to pay a full price for my babies meal also as she is just weaning atm so I asked the carvery if I could have a small plate just to put a little bit food on and they were soo nice and understanding they even gave us a little bit meat for her plate and an extra Yorkshire pudding for her.
My mams partner ordered a burger and he said it wasn’t very nice and the burger was burnt but we told him to mention something but he didn’t so what can you do. But apart from that it was really nice and my little girl enjoyed her first carvery.
Thank you, would definitely come again maybe on a Sunday for a carvery I presume there would be more choice on a Sunday
The little soft play area for the kids is a good idea also.
7 of us had great food
Great service in a lovely atmosphere. We were so relaxed & comfortable. We travelled 16 miles for this recommended experience & we weren't disappointed in any way. Can't wait for our next visit....
Traditional and delicious food. Excellent turkey carvery.
Hadn't been for a while so decided to pop in for tea with the husband. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Food was excellent, staff were all very friendly and atmosphere was great. Won't leave it so long before coming back this time x
I was really impressed with this place, have been to one of the others in the chain which was also good. There was a friendly welcome and got shown to a nice table with lots of space. There's a large menu with something for every taste.
The roast dinners are amazing, in my view they are better than Toby carvery. I only had the veg and potatoes as I'm vegetarian but that was plenty. There is leads of different vegetables as well as boiled, roast and mash potatoes. My mum had the beef which she said was the tastiest beef she'd had from a carvery. The carpark was free and large.
As per most of the farmhouse inns, the breakfasts are great.
It's a buffet style so you just help yourself.
At this one, all of the food was well-cooked and tasty.
This one did scrambled egg as well as fried eggs, which some of the farmhouse inns don't do
They also had a toaster so you can do fresh toast, again, not all do this
Love coming here. The carvery is delicious and plentiful. The staff always seem so down tho, no interaction at all almost zombie like, even the meat carvers,,, won't stop me coming tho.
