Huge transformation from when this was Thyme Bistro, refurbished to bring it into the 21st century.
Helpful staff, varied menu and food which knocks (in my opinion very over rated) Lal Qila into another dimension. There is a new kid on the block. Food was fresh and had huge depth in flavour. Also very reasonably priced.
My wife and I will be back. Thanks and good luck to you with your new venture in Cramlington. Its about time there was some competition!

Great food but doesn't feel like a proper restaurant. There are no tables clothes just bear tables and bear chairs. Not enough not to dine as the food is lovely but doesn't feel the same as other restaurants in quality.

The best Indian food around! I love this place! You cannot ask for better food or service! Special thanks to Sonia who was the most amazing and friendly host, always smiling and very helpful and friendly! Such a lovely place to have close to me. Would highly recommend.

No exaggeration to say this was amongst the best Indian meals I have ever eaten! Absolutely top quality delicious food, excellent friendly service. 5*s all round. This was our first visit on the recommendation of others, but it certainly won't be our last.

The staff were amazing from walking in the door. They found us a table despite having loads of booking and took orders from us quickly. The food is very fresh and the quality is outstanding. I ordered a traditional madras and it was perfect. Made authentically. Hot enough to get you sweating and at the right level that the flavours still exist. The naan was soft and freshly made. Love this place.

Highly rated Indian Restaurant which lived up to its reputation.
Parking outside was no problem which is in issue with some Indian Restaurants that I like to visit.
My partner and I both enjoyed Lamb curries (Rogan Josh and Dupiaza)which were delicious and had very tender meat in them.
This was accompanied by Sag Paneer, Keema Pilau rice, Gunpowder Chips (spiced chips) and a Keema Naan all of which were excellent.
I will be sure to return in the future.

This is the best Indian meal I have ever had. The service was extremely quick and there was hardly any wait for food. The starters are amazing and extremely flavourful. The curries are amazing, a huge portion with a lot of chicken. The naan breads included the perfect amount of filling and the ratio of filling to bread was amazing. The rice was extremely light with lots of flavour. I honestly don't think 5 stars is enough for Dhamaka, it is 7 star in everything. Everyone has to try it!!!

WOW, where to start, all the reviews and people saying how good it was doesn't justify how enjoyable our visit was. We had a table for 4 and the service was absolutely amazing. The waiters couldnt do enough for you and the food.... well what can i say, other than it was the best indians that i have ever had and unreal. Would 100% recommend to anybody

They certainly deserve their recent reward! Most recently, I had a mutton & mind dish, which was absolutely amazing. My wife's chicken tikka masala was good, but slightly too sweet to our liking. We'll definitely be back!

Without doubt the best Indian restaurant within 20 miles of Cramlington. I’ve been coming here since it opened (mostly with my son) and I can honestly say the food is amazing, the staff are brilliant! If you haven’t tried it you’re missing something really special.

Simply the best! Sonia is an absolute star. Efficient, smart (really smart) and always pleased to see you. Salam’s food and smile make you glad you came. The family and their restaurants and takeaways have never let us down in twenty years. Night after night. Imagine how difficult it would be to maintain such high standards. They know how and never disappoint.

Visited Dhamaka for the first time on Friday 13th January with friends for 2 birthday celebrations. We had a great night. The food was delicious, with an extensive menu. and reasonably priced, the service was very good and the drinks were also reasonably priced. We will definitely return.
